Module 5 Modelling Excellence
Why Model Excellence in Training Design?
Innovative training starts with the study of an expert , someone that others aspire
to be like. You next need to break what they do down into the component parts. Now
you have a working model and you should be able to replicate the expert. Continuing
the process you need to discover what are the parts that are critical to success
and what is idiosyncratic. By streamlining you can build an elegant model which can
be taught to others. In this way an organisation can capitalise on the expert pool
by passing on their highly prized skills to others.
Profiling attributes, behaviours, capabilities, values and beliefs, strategies and
sorting patterns also produces a powerful tool for pre-screening job applicants and
spotting raw talent.
During this module you will learn the skills of becoming an expert modeller.
